I’m Dr. Lauren (aka Missy) Lippincott, Ph.D. I’m a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania and a licensed psychologist and mental health counselor in Florida. I also hold a PsyPact license, meaning I’m able to practice remotely in many other states. I’m currently living in PA.

I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami (GO CANES!) in psychology, a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and a masters’ and Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University in clinical psychology.

Currently, I work as an independent contractor conducting mental health disability evaluations for the VA. I also have a private practice where I see clients for therapy and psychological assessments.

My goal in starting this blog is to provide individuals who work in mental health, are participating in mental health care, or those who are curious about mental health care a resource for communication and information. I am all about transparency and understand that reaching out for guidance or support in the world of mental health can be intimidating at times. Come on this journey with me as we explore the world of mental health care. We will laugh, we might cry, and we will all learn a little something along the way.
